This is the flower that has just started to bloom in my front yard. I love how this plant is simply in just two colors; pink and green. The one pink flower in the middle shows the beauty of nature. It symbolizes how spring and warmth has finally come and it is getting ready for the summer and all the sunshine. I am very intrigued as to what this beautiful plant will turn into in the next season.
Acorn
This is a photograph of an acorn that grows on a pine tree in my backyard. Even though I look at the pine trees everyday through the back windows of my house, I never notice the small acorns that hide beneath the green pines. With this photograph, I wanted to emphasize and focus on the small acorn. I find it fascinating that even in this small acorn, there are dozens of new seeds ready for their next life. It opens my mind up to the true wonders and uniqueness of every small creature and living life in this world, even if it is sometimes too small to even notice.
Purple Flower
This purple flower grows in the garden my mother created in our backyard. The plants and leaves around them are what my mother initially planted but this purple plant came from the flower seeds that flew in from the garden next door. When I was walking around trying to see what I could capture with my camera, this purple flower come to my mind. I love how this flower is hidden beneath the leaves but still grows beautifully. It is as if the colors itself seek for attention.
Robin
This photograph was taken at the park near my house. In the fields of grass, this small bird flew in. I love how this bird just stands there with a perfect posture and how it faces left. The orange stomach feathers give the perfect small touch of warm color into the frame. I think it is very nice how this small creature stands out in the field.
Late Bloomer
This tulip was taken at the porch of my house. The tulips usually grow from March to mid April in Michigan. I titled this photograph "Late Bloomer" because this single tulip is still on its way to full bloom. It amazed me that a single tulip could make up a story from just being there. I also love how the water droplets are casted on the petals and how the pink looks lined with the black and grey.
